Yonder Terms of Service
Last change: 3 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Yonder, a business in Canada ("Yonder", "we" or "us"). They apply to the site yonder.so, the Yonder apps for the Mac, the iPhone and Android, the relay and Yonder Preview (together, "Yonder"). When you use Yonder, make an account or buy a plan, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Yonder.
1. Who can use Yonder
You must be 13 or older to use Yonder, and old enough to make a binding contract under the law of your province or country. To buy a plan, you must be an adult in your country, or have the permission of a parent. If you use Yonder for a company, you agree to these terms for that company.
2. What Yonder is
Yonder is a voice app for Claude Code. You talk to Yonder, and Yonder starts, reads and answers the Claude Code agents on your Mac. The phone apps connect to your Mac through our relay. To use Yonder, you need a Mac with Claude Code and your own Claude account. Features, plans and prices can change, as section 15 tells.
Claude and Claude Code are products of Anthropic. Grok is a product of xAI. Yonder is not made by, approved by or connected to Anthropic, xAI, Apple or Google.
3. Your account
Give a true email when you make an account, and keep your password secret. One account is for one person. You are responsible for all that happens with your account. If you think that someone else used your account, change the password and write to [email protected].
4. Emails
When you make an account, you agree to get emails about your account and the service: the welcome email, receipts, password resets, security notices and important changes to Yonder. You cannot stop these emails while you have an account. We send news and marketing email only when you give us your express consent under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Each of these emails has a link to stop them.
5. The plans
| Plan | Price | Voice call time |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 10 minutes, one time |
| Vibe Coder | US$29 each month, or US$288 each year | 2 hours in each calendar month |
| Developer | US$89 each month, or US$888 each year | 7 hours in each calendar month |
The pricing section of the home page lists the features of each plan. The prices are in US dollars. If a law requires us to charge a sales tax, such as GST or HST, the checkout adds it and shows it before you pay. You are responsible for other taxes, duties or fees that apply to you. Your bank can add a fee to change the currency.
Call time
- Call time is the connected time of the voice calls that Yonder pays for. The Yonder app counts it and reports it to yonder.so.
- The Free plan gives 10 minutes of call time, one time. It does not renew.
- A paid plan gives its hours in each calendar month, also when you pay each year. The count starts again on the first day of each month (UTC).
- Call time that you do not use in a month does not go to the next month.
- When you use all the call time of your plan, the calls stop until the next month, or until you buy a larger plan.
- When your Mac uses its own xAI key, xAI bills you for the calls, and Yonder does not count them.
6. The free trial
We can offer a user a free trial of Vibe Coder for 7 days, one time, by email. The trial starts only from the link in that email. A user who had a plan or a trial before gets no second trial. You give your card at the start of the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, Stripe charges the price of the plan when the trial ends, and the plan continues. If you cancel during the trial, Stripe does not charge you.
7. Payment and renewal
- Stripe takes the payments. You agree to the price and the billing period that the checkout shows.
- A plan renews automatically at the end of each period, each month or each year, until you cancel it. Stripe charges your card at the start of each period.
- If a payment fails, the plan can stop until you update your card in Account, Card and invoices.
- We can change a price. We tell you by email at least 30 days before the change. The new price applies from your next period. If you do not agree, cancel before that date. A price change does not apply to a period that you paid for.
8. Cancellation
- Sign in on yonder.so, and open Account.
- Click "Cancel plan".
You can also cancel in "Card and invoices", the customer portal of Stripe. Your plan continues until the end of the period that you paid for. Stripe does not bill you again. Until that date, "Keep my plan" takes the cancellation back.
9. Refunds
- We do not refund a period that you started, call time that you did not use, or the rest of a yearly plan, except where the law requires a refund.
- When you delete your account during a paid period, the plan ends at once, with no refund.
- If Stripe charged you by mistake, for example two times, write to [email protected] within 30 days. We refund the wrong charge.
- If we stop Yonder or close your account for a reason that is not your fault, we refund the unused part of your paid period.
Nothing in this section limits your rights under a consumer protection law that applies to you.
10. Account deletion
- Sign in on yonder.so, and open Account, Delete account.
- Type your password to confirm.
The site deletes your account and its data at once, and a paid plan ends at once. You cannot undo it. Stripe keeps your invoices for the tax records. The Privacy Policy lists the data that the site deletes. If you cannot sign in, write to [email protected] from the email of your account.
11. Rules of use
Do not:
- Use Yonder to break a law of Canada, of its provinces, or of the country where you are.
- Use Yonder to harass, defraud or harm other people.
- Change the apps, or the call time that they report, to get more call time than your plan gives.
- Share an account with other people, or sell access to Yonder.
- Attack, overload, scrape or try to get around the security of the site, the relay or the edge server of Preview.
- Use Yonder Preview to serve illegal content, malware or pages that steal passwords.
- Post spam, illegal content or the personal data of other people on the feedback board.
We can remove content, stop features for an account, and suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. We can report illegal activity to the police.
12. Your work, your agents and AI output
Your code, your projects and the results of your agents are yours. They stay on your Mac. We do not train AI models on your data.
The voice agent and the Claude Code agents use AI models. AI models can give answers that are wrong, incomplete or not right for your purpose. Voice recognition can hear a word incorrectly. The agents run on your Mac with the permissions that you give Claude Code, so they can change and delete files and run commands. Check what the agents do, and keep backups of your work. You are responsible for the tasks that you give the agents and for what they do on your Mac.
13. Other companies
Yonder uses the services of other companies, such as Anthropic for Claude Code, xAI for the voice, Stripe for payments, and Cloudflare and Hetzner for the network and the server. Their terms and privacy policies also apply to the data that they process for you. Your use of Claude Code follows the terms of Anthropic. When your Mac uses its own xAI key, your use of that key follows the terms of xAI. We are not liable for the errors, outages or decisions of these companies. The Privacy Policy lists them.
14. Your licence to use Yonder
Yonder and its apps belong to us. While you follow these terms, we give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Yonder. We can take it back. Do not copy, decompile, reverse-engineer, scrape or sell Yonder, and do not use it to build a competing service, except where the law lets you. The licence ends when you break these terms or when your account closes.
15. Changes to Yonder
Yonder is a young product, and we change it often. We can add, change or remove features. We try to keep Yonder available, but we do not promise that it always works, that it is always fast, or that it has no errors. When one of the companies in section 13 stops, a part of Yonder can stop too.
16. No warranty
Except where the law requires a warranty, we give Yonder "as is" and "as available", with no warranty of any kind. This includes the warranties of merchantability, of fitness for a particular purpose, of non-infringement and of the accuracy of AI output. Some provinces and countries do not let a business exclude some warranties, so parts of this section possibly do not apply to you.
17. Limit of liability
To the full extent that the law allows:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damage, or for lost profit, revenue, data, goodwill or business. This includes the changes that agents make to your files. This applies also when someone told us that the damage was possible.
- Our total liability for all claims about Yonder is not more than the larger of the two: the amount that you paid us in the 12 months before the event of the claim, or CAD $100.
Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not let us limit, such as liability for fraud, for gross negligence, or under a consumer protection law that applies to you.
18. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Yonder: you pay for the claims, losses and costs, with reasonable legal fees, that come from your content, from a breach of these terms by you, from a breach of a law by you, or from a breach of the rights of another person by you. We can take control of the defence of such a claim, at your cost.
19. Copyright complaints
If you think that content on Yonder, for example on the feedback board or at a Preview address, infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected] under sections 41.25 to 41.27 of the Copyright Act (Canada). Give your name and contact details, the work, the location of the content on Yonder, the date and time of the infringement, and your electronic signature. We send each valid notice to the user who is responsible. We can remove the content or suspend the account. We close the accounts of users who infringe again and again.
20. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Yonder at each time, and delete your account as section 10 tells. We can suspend or close your account when you break these terms, when we suspect fraud, or when your use puts Yonder or other users at risk. If the problem is not serious, we tell you first and give you time to correct it. After an account closes, the sections that must continue by their nature continue: ownership, limits of liability, indemnity and law.
21. Privacy
The Privacy Policy tells what we collect and how we use it. It follows the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), and Quebec's Law 25 where it applies.
22. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we put the new terms on this page and change the date at the top. For an important change, we tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before the change. If you use Yonder after the change, you agree to the new terms. If you do not agree, cancel your plan and delete your account.
23. Law and disputes
The laws of the Canadian province where Yonder has its place of business, and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it, govern these terms, without their conflict-of-laws rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
Only the courts of that province decide disputes about these terms or about Yonder. Where the law allows it, a consumer can also start a claim in the courts of the province where the consumer lives. If you are a consumer in Quebec, nothing in these terms takes away the protection of the Quebec Consumer Protection Act.
24. Other terms
- Transfer: you cannot transfer these terms or your account to another person without our written consent. We can transfer these terms, for example when we sell the business.
- No partnership: these terms do not make you and Yonder employer and employee, agents, partners or a joint venture. They give no rights to third parties.
- Severability: if a court finds that a part of these terms is not enforceable, the other parts stay in effect.
- Entire agreement: these terms and the Privacy Policy are the full agreement between you and us about Yonder.
